Bobó de Legumes (op. 5)

Info

The piece “Bobó de legumes” was composed based on melodic contours. There are three texture ideas in the piece: counterpoint lines, simultaneous short strikes and short alternate strikes. The piece was dedicated to Flávio Hamaoka and Raul Costa D’Avila, who recorded the work for the CD “Composers of Bahia”, produced by OCA, and in the final stage of production. Flávio and Raul have already premiered the piece at Flávio’s graduation recital on December 1st, 2007 at the rectory of UFBA, Salvador, and have also performed at the recital of flute students by Lucas Robatto on the C floor of the Castro Alves Theater, Salvador.
