Difusa (op. 13)

The piece “Difusa” (“Fuzzy”) has this title because of the fuzzy, hazy feature of the relationships between its musical contours. In general, these contours have similarities to each other but are not rigidly the same nor different. This composition is an experiment of my Ph.D. research and is documented in the Thesis. The work was premiered by students in the series Concertos Relâmpagos, from the Música de Agora na Bahia Project (MAB), Salvador, BA, September 17 and 18, 2012.
