The piece Genética (Genetics) was composed based on the idea that musical contours can help in the coherence of a musical work. This composition is part of the research on the application of contours in Musical Composition and its analysis is present in the Ph.D. Thesis. This piece was premiered by Jean Marques (bassoon) and Gueber Santos (clarinet) at the Rectory Hall of the Federal University of Bahia on November 30, 2010.
