I composed Quatro miniaturas para flauta solo in 2004, during a master class with Prof. Bruce Trinkley. At the time, he asked me to compose four miniatures, inspired in an animal, a person, a feeling, and a work of art. Flávio Hamaoka premiered this piece in 2005.
