Abstract
Accordingly to Volks et al., the Computational Musicology requires an interdisciplinary effort to reach its full potential. This paper describes an interdisciplinary research on a collection of solo flute pieces available at the International Music Score Library Project (IMSLP), the connections and challenges among the areas involved, the current development status of the MusiAnalysis—the computer-assisted analysis system—, the research methodology, and the expected results.
